Manchester City Defender Martin Demichelis has been hit with a £22,058 fine for breaching FA player rules and betting on football matches.
The Argentinian international, 35, breached FA Rule E8 concerning 29 bets placed on matches between January 22 2016 and February 15 2016. He escaped a ban as he did not place any bets on matches in which he had any involvement.
